Description
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is a comprehensive, skill-building program designed for divers who wish to expand their knowledge and experience in the underwater world. As a follow-up to the PADI Open Water Diver certification, this course offers divers the opportunity to enhance their abilities and engage in a wider range of diving activities.
The course comprises a series of five adventure dives, two of which are mandatory: Underwater Navigation and Deep Diving. The remaining three adventure dives are selected by the student from a diverse range of specialty options, such as Digital Underwater Photography, Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Wreck Diving, among others.
Throughout the course, divers receive practical training and theoretical knowledge under the guidance of experienced PADI instructors. The course aims to improve divers’ underwater navigation skills, buoyancy control, and deep diving techniques while also providing them with the opportunity to explore various diving interests.
By completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Course, divers gain confidence in their abilities, broaden their understanding of the aquatic environment, and acquire the necessary skills to safely participate in more challenging diving situations. This certification allows divers to explore depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet) and serves as a foundation for further diving education and specialization.
