Description
Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology (either offline or online), then learn basic scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) with a highly trained PADI Instructor. When you’re ready, make four dives in an open water environment (the ocean, a lake) with your instructor supporting you every step of the way.
The PADI Open Water Course is your passport to the underwater world. Upon successful completion, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, entitling you to dive with a buddy, independent of professional supervision, to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet.
The PADI Open Water Course comprises three main sections:
1) Knowledge Development (online, home study or in a classroom) to gain an understanding of basic principles of scuba diving
2) Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
3) Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
